Stable Hands relies on the skills and dedication of volunteers to help provide our therapeutic riding services.
Classes are in Spring and Fall. Training is provided to new volunteers.
Volunteers assist the students on horseback as well as interacting with them as a team according to the instructor's lesson plan and guidance. They provide encouragement and security for the rider.
Riders do a variety of games and exercises on horseback, all designed to strengthen the areas of weakness they experience as well as building confidence in their own ability.
