Campers Shine Even in the Summer Heat.
Despite some of the hottest temperatures of the summer, our second horse camp was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable experiences! Over four exciting days, campers embraced every opportunity to learn, create, and spend time with our incredible horses while also discovering how to safely care for them during hot weather.
The unusually warm days became a valuable learning experience as campers learned the importance of keeping horses cool and well-hydrated. They helped give refreshing baths, monitored water intake, and learned how proper care helps horses stay healthy and comfortable during the summer months. They also made nutritious homemade horse treats that our equine partners thoroughly enjoyed!
When they weren’t caring for the horses, campers expressed their creativity by painting horse-inspired artwork and personalizing reusable water bottles—perfect for staying hydrated in the summer heat.
Whether they were riding, grooming, leading horses through activities, or simply spending quiet time with their favorite equine friends, campers built confidence, learned new skills, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Even the soaring temperatures couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm, teamwork, and joy shared throughout the week.
