Stable Hands Capital Campaign
Building a Stable Future
From its inception in 1992 to the present, Stable Hands has offered valuable equine therapy that has enhanced the quality of life and health for special needs individuals by improving physical, emotional, cognitive and social development.
Phase 1:
Stable Hands has achieved its first goal of having a permanent location. It is a 28-acre former horse farm in the Town of Stettin on the outskirts of Wausau, Wisconsin.

Building Expansion Plans
Phase 2:
This completed step provided a heated and insulated 160 x 80 foot indoor arena for program activities.
Phase 3:
The final phase will bring the program to full-time/full-year operation. Plans include the completion of the arena stable additions and other renovations – stalls, tack/feed rooms and community areas. The community center will have seating for 75, offices, kitchen, bathrooms and viewing windows into the arena.
Your financial support of Stable Hands enables the continuation and expansion of the program.
