Herd Helper Sponsorship

Our equine partners are one of the most important parts of our Equine Assisted Services program. They are the biggest components for connecting and building trust and self-confidence with our participants. Most people do not realize the costs for their care and maintenance. Generous donations from our Herd Helper sponsors are very important as they help to support the programs that improve the quality of life, health and overall well-being for the children and adults we serve.

Herd Helpers support helps to provide the necessary funding to keep our wonderful herd happy and healthy. On average, it costs approximately $250 per month per horse to provide a balanced diet of quality hay, grain and custom supplements as well as essential care like dental, veterinary, chiropractic and hoof care. In addition to the expense of keeping our equines healthy and fed, there is also the expense of trained, hired help to exercise, groom and care for the herd every day.

Herd Helper Sponsorship Packages

Thoroughbred Sponsor: $3,600/year ($300/month) – For your sponsorship, you will receive: A Sponsor plaque in the barn near the stalls; Recognition for your sponsorship level on the Stable Hands website, Facebook page and “Lead Line” newsletter; Periodic updates about the Herd; Hand-painted Horseshoe decorated by a participant of the program; and a Monthly scheduled education session (groom and care) opportunities to meet and work with the Herd throughout the year.

Quarter Horse Sponsor: $2,700/year ($225/month) – For your sponsorship, you will receive: A Sponsor plaque in the barn near the stalls; Recognition for your sponsorship level on the Stable Hands website, Facebook page and “Lead Line” newsletter; and Six scheduled education session (groom and care) opportunities to meet and work with the Herd throughout the year.

Haflinger Sponsor: $1,800/year ($150/month) – For your sponsorship, you will receive: A Sponsor plaque in the barn near the stalls; Recognition for your sponsorship level on the Stable Hands website, Facebook page and “Lead Line” newsletter; and Four scheduled education session (groom and care) opportunities to meet and work with the herd throughout the year.

Pony Sponsor: $1,200/year ($100/month) – For your sponsorship, you will receive: Recognition for your sponsorship level on the Stable Hands website; and Four scheduled education session (groom and care) opportunities to meet and work with the Herd throughout the year.

Mini Sponsor: $600/year ($50/month) – For your sponsorship, you will receive: Recognition for your sponsorship level on the Stable Hands website; and a scheduled opportunity to meet the Herd.
