Generally geared for adult readers 18+, but some books are appropriate for the teenage population. Join us for an amazing evening filled with book talks, fun activities, and good company.

What to Expect:

  • Book Discussion: Saving Boone: Legend of a Kiowa Son by Monette Bebow-Reinhard
    Boone Tyler is on the run. He is 12 years old. His mother had died, and he thinks his Kiowa father killed her. Follow Boone as he clings to his white identity to manhood through the Civil and Indian wars, with the vow to kill his father as soon as he’s brave enough, while also wanting nothing more in life than to be a horse rancher.

  • Refreshments: Enjoy a Native American inspired soup, served with bread and crackers and a variety of desserts and beverages.
  • Mindfulness Meditation: Experience the healing power of horses in a short mediation session surrounded by equine friends from our herd in our beautiful arena.
