PATH Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning/EAGALA Certified Equine Specialist

I had moved from Alabama to Wausau, Wisconsin in 2014 and was looking for a place to board, I found Stable Hands online. I came out for a tour, fell in love with the program and vision then decided to volunteer. I began here as a side walker and just kept going from there. Then my horse came to live here and now so do my family and I.

I am the onsite equine caretaker, I assist our Barn Manager and help care for our horses and the farm.
I am a certified Equine Specialist with EAGALA and I am certified with PATH as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning.

In my free time I enjoy playing video games with my friends back in Alabama and my niece and nephew in California. I love to read and research. I often take enrichment classes for fun. I have a passion for learning.

My heart is always in the barn with our horses. I recently became certified as an equine specialist with EAGALA and PATH, Intl and discovered a whole other role here at Stable Hands! I am enjoying classes and have become very active in our Veterans Assisted Sports Training (VAST) program
